Repeating the same layout on side two...
...with an internal pocket...
...layers of silk, wool and gauze...
...and lots of pre-felt embellishments.
I also 'trapped' a few beads, sequins...
...and small, thick pieces of finished felt...
...under the silk gauze (for texture).
After wetting the project out...
...I began rubbing...
...and I rubbed it for a very long while...
...(to make sure that everything was attached)...
...before I ever rolled it.
Fulling the project.
The finished felt (wet)...
...and after drying.
You'll notice that it's very firmly felted...
...but rather 'unfortunate-looking' and misshapen.
On the other hand...it has lots of fun colors...
...interesting, bumpy inclusions...
...and plenty of texture...
...so I didn't want to consign it to my 'felt scraps graveyard' just yet. ;)
Next time: I do a little minor surgery...
...and my 'Franken-Pillow' is born! :)

Deborah-Soon! ;)
Rachel-Thanks!
I already love this colorful something of texture. So cheerful color makes happy when using it or looking at it. Can't wait to see the finished one.
Thanks, Terriea!
