Inexpensive 'Fishnet' yarn...
...from an outdoor market in Rotterdam...
...is anchored by small pieces of pre-felt...
...and retains its 'freedom of motion'.
...are added as wonky embellishments...
...purely for fun.
Pieces of wool- and hairy- yarn, partially felted projects...
...and tiny pre-felt off-cuts...
...all enliven the design.
Because I keep nearly every leftover snippet...
...of fiber, pre-felt, fabric, yarn or finished felt that I use or make...
...I usually have a large bag of odds-and-ends on hand!
This project was a very quick one...
...made as a sample and a tutorial.
Take a peek in your own 'bag 'o leftovers' sometime...
...and see what might become of your scraps! :)

It is quite amazing what can be done with leftovers!
What a great use for left over scraps, my bag o scraps is nearly as large as my wool stash, definitely time I made a more concerted effort to use some of it! :)
Rachel-I love using up little bits of fiber and fabric. It makes me feel so thrifty! :)
Teri-I used a bunch of my fiber and finished felt scraps when I created and then stuffed my previous project (the pillow). Maybe a pillow is a good project for you, too?!?
And very cute too! :)
Thanks, Sandie!
