Applying fiber from a handmade batt...
...(prepared from wool roving plus dyed tussah silk)...
...to the surface of my resist.
It's one that was modified from an earlier project...
...in a way that would make a hat that's a bit more 'wearable'! :)
Wetting out the wool...
...and, after felting it to the pre-felt stage...
...making a slit to remove the resist.
Next time: more felting and a bit of 'carving' is done...
...and the hat is completed!

Hi Heather, can't wait to see the finished hat!! And yes, i'm doing fine. Have a busy period untill christmas but then......just nothing but felting..
