"Polish Pottery" Table Topper- Part 2 of 2

After flipping the amoeba back to its 'all blue' side...

...white pre-felt circles are applied to the surface.

                                               Some rearranging is required...

...until all of them have found a proper 'home'. :)

A small dot of navy pre-felt is added to the center of each white circle...

...and the project is wetted out.

I used white embroidery floss (all six strands)...

...to stitch a defining outline in the finished felt.

The back side of the piece...

...sports a 'blending mark' from each white circle.

The finished topper, side-by-side with its 'namesake' pottery.

(Now you can see what I was aiming for!)

And that floss line is just the extra detail it needed - well done!

It's beautiful Heather! The white stitching detail around the edge really defines it. I love it!
I like seeing the echoes of the design on the back from using prefelt :) it's so much nicer than a plain back.
Great work! xoxo

Glad you both like the embroidery. I thought it needed a little outlining!! :)

Very nice color looks like indigo dyed. The white melts perfect on blue.
