The pre-felt pieces, drying.
One jacket sleeve.
The front of the jacket (still in the pre-felt stage)...
...and the back.
The rectangular pre-felt...
...with the collar in place for basting.
With a large-eyed needle...
...and lengths of ribbon yarn...
...a simple design is basted...
...onto each pre-felt sleeve.
Sections of leftover felt from this project...
...are added to the jacket front...
...and wisps of wool roving make a felted fringe.
I know that I promised you finished felt today...
...but I hope you'll be satisfied with lots of embellishment, instead. :)
