...I whipstitched the ends of the scarf together...
...to form a circle.
(This scarf is not going to fall off and get lost!)

As some of you know...
...I recently taught myself to knit by way of internet videos.
Although I'm still a complete novice...
...and despite the fact that this scarf is merely straight knitting (no fancy stuff!)...
...I'm rather proud of the finished article. :)
This yarn is absolutely lovely to knit with...
...so much so, that I bought another colourway for a second project!
(You may remember Mushishi yarn from this project...
...a felted notebook cover.)

Beautiful colours. Did you join ravelry yet to hang out with the rest of us knitters and be inspired.
It looks lovely and snuggly!
HOORAY! Look at your knitting. I love the cowl and just in time for this cold weather.
CONGRATULATIONS!! I am so very proud of you. Even if it is in "just plain straight knit", the edges are even, and that takes some doing for many when they first learn. So you have done extremely well. If I had a big star to stick on here, I would! :)
Jane--I actually WAS on Ravelry at one point, but it's just too much to add to FB and blogging every other day. :(
Rachel--The yarn is really nice...soft and warm.
Andrea--Smile. I thought you'd be happy! :)
Sandie--Thanks for the star (and your encouragement!).
Yay, you knit! Beautiful scarf, great stitch definitions.
Vivian-Thanks so much for the support! (Not exactly sure what 'stitch definitions' are...but it sounds positive!) ,)
