Maryland Sheep and Wool Festival '11

Little cutie!

Glorious color.

Don't interrupt me while I'm eating!

Beautiful felted goods.

I spent Sunday at the Maryland Sheep and Wool Festival...

...and it was an absolutely marvelous day!

Unlike last year when the heat and humidity hit record levels...

...it was pleasantly warm and sunny, with no rain in sight!

I caught up with a few felting friends...

...and ate the obligatory funnel cake and kettle corn! :)

I also spent a lot of time drooling over all of the wonderful fiber supplies...

...and the adorable animals!

This is just a small sampling...

...of some of the wonders of this festival.

I'll show you what you really want to see next time...

...when I post photos of what I bought! Giggle.

I was in Maryland visiting my family a week ago and really, really wanted to stay an extra week to attend this event. You've made me jealous! Maybe next year...

Where is the jealous button? That is one festival I would love to visit...ahhh, once my little Bears become big Bears, I supposed.

I can't wait to see your goodies.

I'm hitting the jealous button right after Andrea - especially for that middle pic with all the wonderful fiber just hanging in rows. Rows, even!

Looking forward to seeing the pirate's loot. :)

Call if you need grocery money this week...Probably all $ spent at the festival ... Hard to digest the fiber that you bought;-)))

Hugs,
Dawn

Dawn--Yes...I will be subsisting on canned foods from my cupboard this week for sure!! Giggle.
Janee--Glorious weather...I was so happy!
Kelly--Hahahaha! You must come with me next year...or one year to Rhinebeck if the timing for that works better. Either event is well worth the trip!!
