Top-stitching around the mouth of the bag.

                      Pinning the long sides of the zipper piece to the bag opening...

                                                 ...and stitching it into place.

                                                           The finished bag...

                                                    ...with its roomy interior...

                                                     ...is just the right size...

                                           ...for my felting workshop supplies!

'Dutch Wax Print' Zippered Bag- Part 1

Attaching fabric 'tubes'...

                                                  ...to each side of a zipper...

                                   ...and (later) adding cloth 'pull tabs' to each end.

                                     Stitching the exterior Dutch wax print fabric...

                                ...and the lining fabric (cut from an old tablecloth)...

                                             ...into identical 'squarish' shapes...

                                          ...and squaring off their bottom corners.

                  Sewing the exterior and lining fabrics together at their raw edges...

                                              ...leaving an opening for turning.
