Warm (Knitted) Winter Cowl

From a small ball of blended wool and synthetic yarn...

...I made a soft, spongy cowl!

The variegated colors are so pretty...

                                                                          ...and varied...

...that I find myself wearing it with practically everything! :)

I used a darning needle and the leftover yarn...

...to stitch the finished rectangle into a circle...

...and with the weather we've had lately...

...I've gotten to wear it often!

I too have found that wildly variegated scarves seem to go with everything - much better than neutrals, and much more cheering too!

It's beautiful, and I bet it's nice and warm too. I even wear mine inside the house, to keeps drafts off my neck. Hey, it works! LOL

Enjoy!

Rachel-I do need a bit of cheering up! :)
Evelyn- I love the look of Noro, but I've heard mixed reviews on the 'hand' (prickly). This yarn is oh, so soft!
Sandie-Smart idea!
Andria-Thanks!
