'Constellation' Purse- Part 2 of 2

A close-up of some of the 'stars'...

...and multi-colored cotton dots from the wool batt!

Trimming the top of my bag with a rotary cutter...

...along with that of its 'sister purse' from Fling.

Pinning in the fabric lining, prior to stitching.

                                                                    The finished bag...

                                                            ...with green leather handles...

...that (happily) match the pre-felt bits!

I fashioned the lining from a piece of prized stash fabric...

...and for now, anyway, I'm leaving the purse 'closure-less'.

So did you find the leather to match the spots or the spots to match the leather?

Very nice. You can never go wrong when using green anything. I think it's Mother Nature's favorite color too, and you want to stay in good terms with Mother Nature, right? LOL

Rachel--I matched the leather to the bag...but it's not surprising that I had wool and leather in this color...it's a favorite of mine!! :)
Sandie--Right...especially lately when I seem to have angered her, somehow!! ;)
