Bright Knitted Scarf and a 'Blast From the Past'!

I had a small ball of this shocking pink, yellow and purple yarn...

...and I really loved the colourway...

...so I knitted a cowl from it...

...and have been wearing it happily ever since...

                                                        ...chasing the winter's chill away!

Some of you may remember the rug that I made last summer at 'Fling'...

                                                           ...well, over the Christmas holiday...

...it finally made its way to its intended spot on the wall over the couch.

Many thanks to my daughter, Lydia and her BF, Rob...

who engineered the 'suspension' of this rather heavy piece of felt!!

I can well believe some engineering and ingenuity was required - well worth the time and effort!

Love the cowl. You should get quite a bit of use out of that, living here in PA.

Your rug looks right at home over the couch, a perfect match for the sofa and pillows. Very nice indeed!

The rug looks fabulous on the wall! Love it! It's far too pretty for walking on..

I'm sure you have been glad of all your woollies this winter :) Very pretty colours

Deborah-The rug was always intended for the space above my couch (I designed it based on the pillows), but I couldn't sort out how to properly hang it for quite some months! (Thank goodness for talented children!) :)
