A Plethora of Peculiar Projects- Part 3 of ?

Placing strips of variegated pre-felt...

...onto an irregularly shaped resist.

Covering the pre-felt with superfine merino roving...

...and adding a small flap.

After flipping the resist to side two...

...adding additional pre-felt strips and roving.

A thin plastic resist is added to make an interior pocket.

Except...

...it never quite turned into a purse!

It got diced up...

...machine stitched...

...and turned into a silverware caddy!

Even though I started out with the most luscious roving...

...and the best intentions...

...this purse never really took off. :(

So...when looking for a way to wrap and store a set of table knives...

...I remembered this neglected piece of felt.

I did a little measuring and stitching...

...added a velcro tab...

...and 'Bob's your uncle'! :)

Thanks, ladies!
It's funny, Deborah, since you know I'm not usually a fan of blue projects...but I really loved this shade!
