Our Rug Class- Felter's Fling 2013- Part 2 of ?

Helen's rug is absolutely enormous...

...with a bold and vibrant design!

Her finished rug in all of its glory.

Joan's rug...

...has a feminine, impressionistic quality.

Here she is, hard at work...

...and still smiling! :)

Aren't the colors scrumptious?...

...and check out her lovely asymmetrical border!

I hope you are beginning to get a sense...

...of the wonderful variety of rugs/wall hangings that were made in this class.

Each project reflects the artistic sensibility of its creator...

...and it was thrilling to see each of them taking shape!

Next time: what else?

...more rugs! :)

All of these projects are fabulous! I love how many layers of thickness there are to make those rugs. It looks like the finished rug is about an inch thick?

Thanks, ladies! Yes, Andrea, they are all approximately 1 inch thick.

So amazing turnout. Very clear outline and even thickness. It looks very thick layer. Is it hard to roll, rub...?

Keep them coming Heather. I've loving it! They are all just gorgeous, and the colors are so bright and cheerful. If I had one of those rugs, I would simply have to dance on it, they are such happy rugs. :)

Terriea-The rubbing takes a really long time! It's not rolled until the very end and then not very much.
Sandie- When my friend, Lisa was finishing hers, we did actually walk and dance on it for a while! :)
Kelly- The breed that Karoliina and Rod use is called Land Race sheep, I believe.
