What else was on display that night?
This painstakingly created 'pine needle felt' dress...
...and
this flouncy nuno number.
We saw garments in various shapes, colors...
...textures...
...and lengths...
...and wearables for both formal and casual occasions.
Felt artists dance and whirl in this outdoor 'runway show'...
...inspired by the beauty of Charity Van de Meer's glorious garments!
Thanks, Dawn, for this close-up photo of Charity (center)...
...her lovely dresses, and models! :)
Next time: Images from the student exhibition.

I can just feel the lovely drape of the felt and see the beautiful texture in each garment.
Fabulous work!
Glad you enjoyed them, ladies!
That's amazing how they actually made full dresses, and such lovely ones too. I can't begin to fathom the time and skill involved, but I definitely respect their talent. Beautiful! :)
Sandie-They're great, aren't they?
Beautiful dresses, Heather.
Mattie- Love your new FB profile!
Pine needle felt? Sounds very peculiar, but delightful!
Rachel--The feltmaker who originated this method thought that it looked like pine needles scattered on snow!
