Long-Limbed Creature for Hayes- Part 3

Making two loops wound with aqua roving...


                             ...and threading them with several metal binder rings...

                                              ...before attaching them to the doll.



                                                       Rubbing the project...



                                                  ...to begin the felting process.



                 Painter's plastic is used to keep the nose from felting into the face.



                                                              Rolling begins...

                                                    ...albeit a bit unnervingly! ;)



                                                 The wool begins to shrink...



                                                        ...and become firmer.



                                         After the project passes the 'pinch test'...

                                                    ...a slit is cut in the back...



                                                 ...and the resist is removed.



                                       Next time: the felting and fulling continue...

                                           ...and I give the creature a bit of hair!

I'm not sure I would dare roll and rub at a creature that stared at me like that!
