"Purse-onality"- Part 4

Cutting narrow strips from a sheet of leather...

...rounding off their ends...


                                        ...and stitching each of them lengthwise...

                                                 ...(leaving the ends unsewn).



                                             Punching holes in the strap ends...



                                              ...and 'basting' them to the bag...

                                                   ...with upholstery twist pins.



                                               Stitching the handles to the bag...

                                              ...with strong nylon beading thread.



                                                        The finished purse...


   

                                               ...with its highly textured surface.



                                                The bag interior is pure white...

                                           ...except for the nuno pre-felt pocket...



                                         ...and the shimmery blue leather handle...





                                               ...lends a bit of 'disco glamour'! ;)

That's amazing. I particularly enjoyed hearing about how you fashioned those very professional-looking handles. And I like the idea of a white interior.
