Embroidered 'Bumpy' Bag- Part 3

Additional layers of merino roving...


                                              ...are added to the bag surface...



                                                ...on each side of the project.



                                        This helps to 'lock in' the hanging loops.





                                                   A square of silk gauze...

                          ...and leftover scraps of pre-felt (one from my 'Rasta' Top Hat)...



                                     ...are applied to the surface of a small resist...

                                                 ...forming an internal pocket.
  
                                         But wait...this looks familiar, somehow!?!



                                                   Flipping the project over...

                           ...and wrapping the wool layers closely around the resist.



                                            Fashioning a second internal pocket... 



                              ...from silk gauze and various colors of merino roving.



                                             Now can you see what I saw?!? :)



                                                      Next time: felting begins!
