"Squared Spiral" Clutch- Part 2 of 2

Wetting out the project...


            ...and protecting the patency of the loop with a narrow strip of bubble wrap.



                                                   Mid-way through felting...



                              ...the wool is beginning to shrink and become firmer.



                                                      Removing the resist...

                              ...and turning the project inside-out for further felting.



                                      I like the way that the margins of the spiral...

                                          ...become slightly 'wiggly' during felting.



                                A hat pin holds the closure in its proper orientation...

                                           ...as the clutch is blocked and drying.              



                                                   The opened clutch (inside)...



                                                               ...and out...



                                                ...and the closed clutch (back)...



                                                                ...and front.
