Using a slightly smaller resist than before...
...I cover side one with layers of merino roving.
The project is wetted out...
...turned over and back again...
. ..and additional roving is added on each flip.
The wet roving is carefully folded back...
...following the permanent marker line on the resist.
On side two, wool is laid out only half-way up the resist.
Bright lengths of roving...
...are added to form a square spiral on the wool surface.
Next time: the finished clutch!
