Vancouver Trip (Downtown)- Part 3 of ?

The view from our Yaletown apartment.

Enjoying a rich, ten year old tawny port...

...marcona almonds and 'smelly cheese' for our nibbles.

Cutting fat slices from a gorgeous 'slow rise' loaf from this incredible bakery!

One of the things that makes Vancouver so special...

...is that no matter where you are in this (big) city...

...nature is not too far off.

                                                      Stanley Park, for instance...

                                           ...with its eminently walkable seawall...

...makes 'getting back to nature' a rather easy thing to do!

Of course we had to make a stop at the Vancouver Flea Market...

...with over 300 tables filled with eclectic merchandise.

Here, my very game friend, Sandy...

...models her husband's new loupe light spectacles!

We ate in a number of different restaurants while we were there...

...but the food at this Lebanese restaurant was so delicious...

...we had to go back a second time! :)

                                                  Next time: we go shopping!
