My Own 'Fling' Mystery Projects- Part 1 of ?

Because my week-long class at Felters' Fling...

                                                       ...was a conceptual...

                                          ...rather than a project-centered class...

...I made projects that were unlike any of my classmates.

                                                     To begin, I made pre-felt...

                                                   ...lots and lots of pre-felt...

                                                 ...some with layers of silk...

                                           ...some with finished felt inclusions...

...and even some with rubber band snippets...

...felted within the fiber layers (for texture).

Next time (spoiler alert): I make more pre-felt! :)

My goodness, and you're still going to make more? And somehow I have a feeling that you've already got plans for some of it...!

I really like the pre-felt pieces. You can just cut out what you want, and sew them together, without having to "mold" them as you go along. It just sounds like it might be easier that way. LOL

I remember also just making prefelts with Jeanette. I look forward to seeing a final ? piece in a few episodes.

Rachel- Yes...by the end you'll see two of the finished projects!
Sandy- These aren't sewn together, just laid on top of each other and then felted together.
Thanks, Teri!
Jane- Stay tuned!
