...but they muted down beautifully in the finished hat!

Rachel--I'm afraid that Moochi has been gamboling in the 'great pasture in the sky' for some time, now (through no fault of the fleece collection, however!!) :)

Deborah--Thanks! Using the aggressive corriedale roving pretty much guaranteed a muted result...that's why I asked the girls to start a bit 'brighter' than they usually would. :)
