The women in my class didn't shy away from hard work.
On the contrary, most of them made enormous bags!
As in our surface design class...
...each student was given the techniques and tips...
...that would enable her to realize...
...the purse of her dreams!
I love how each bag is so different!
The student's choice of shape, color...
...and design...
...resulting in something unique and special!
We had several very new feltmakers in our class...
...yet under Fiona's expert tutelage, their finished projects shone!
I really love these geometric pre-felts...
...an elegant design for a very special bag!
Next time: the first of my own 'Fiona' projects...
...a cacophonic surface design piece...
...deliberately made with colors that I 'resist'.

Rachel and Martine- it was a very talented group!!
Got me inspired again. Hopefully I have enough energy today to start and felt a bag too. .
Kim-Yay! I know it will be wonderful!! How did Armand's election go?!?
Lots of lovely bags there. Personally, I like the size of them too, because you could use them for an over-night bag, or, for someone like me, a knitter, great project bags. Very pretty, every one! :)
Stunning bags Heather!
Looking forward to seeing yours :)

Sandie-I really love a class where project size is not an issue, and you're just encouraged to 'express yourself'!!!! :)
Deborah-they're great, aren't they?!?
Beautiful! What type of wool did you all use? The colors are super vibrant!
Kelly-It was C-1 Pelsul batts and merino pre-felts. XO
