As a feltmaker, my love of sheep comes naturally...
...but I've never bothered to form an opinion about goats one way or the other.
After seeing so many of them at the farm show, recently, however...
...I have to admit that I'm rather smitten!! :)
Unlike my cat...
...who is undeniably sweet and wonderful...
...goats seem to smile when they look at you!
I just love that!! :)
There were (of course!) some sweet sheep at the fair, too...
Check out the wool 'go-go boots' left on this coated sheep...
...and look at this precious face!
Next time: mostly roosters...
...with their insane 'hairdo's'! :)

Wonderful pictures and sweet text. Made me smile xox
Kim- I honestly couldn't believe how cute those goats were! Guess I need to get out of the suburbs more?!? :)
Goats look as though they have a sense of humour, don't they...!
I have to say I am rather partial to my curly goats..... :)
Goats are not only adorable to look at, but wonderful to be around as well. If you take the time to get to know them well, they are almost dog-like in their behavior, and friendliness. At one time I had a nice little herd of Nubian goats. One of them, Diane, used to love dancing with me. And I loved their friendship and companionship in return. And remember, the Angora goat gives us Mohair too. :)
Oh I love goats! And sheep of course :) And don't get me started on chickens.. can't wait for the next post!
xx
Next time you come to Michigan, you need to visit my farm and see my goats. You will fall in love 10 times over. I didn't think I was going to adore them like I do but goodness, they are so full of personality.
Thanks, all!! It's good to know that there are so many goat aficionados out there!!
