A happy smile is shared between classmates...
...and a hat is pinned for hemming.
Here, Sue's "Warrior Goddess" hat gets a little TLC from Elis.
We joked that many of our hats were 'business in the front'...
...'party in the back'! :)
Jan's second hat looked a lot like a
mouse at this stage in the process!

What a great selection of hats!
Those hats are amazing! I love looking at all of the "swirls" of fiber and the texture. I hope everyone has fun wearing their new creations.
Janine--I think every single participant went home happy (and tired!)
FF--Thanks! I sure was with a talented bunch of feltmakers!
Andrea--Thanks! Wish you could have attended, too!
Such a wonderful workshop I'm sure. You all created the amazing and unique hats. Beautiful color and texture.

ohhhh, I wished I could have joined too, must have been so much fun!!
Seeing the results I hope I'll have some time upcoming 2 weeks too, to experiment again with felting... missed that lately :( (due to busy with my job )
Those hats are fantastic! Thanks so much for sharing.
A very unique and colorful group of hats! Glad you all had such fun together. :)
I'm not surprised there were so many happy faces, some of those hats are absolute crackers! (er, for the benefit of non-native speakers, that's a compliment!)
The hats look simply amazing. How do they turn from 2D fabric to 3D objects? Looks like a very worthy 2-day workshop!
I am completely amazed by your hats. They are so fab, but best of all you look like you are all having such a great time.
A bunch of awesome hats, truly! I love all the color combinations. They definitely are a party in the back. Looks like a lot of fun was had.
What a fun gathering! Makes me quite envious ;)

Definitely a fun post. I love all of them... and business in the front/party in the back got me snarfing my coffee.
Deborah--A couple of them were in your 'Hobbit'
wheelhouse!
Jess--Hahaha...glad you liked that! :)
Oh my God, Heather, hats are so entrancing and original!!! Cool! Was it difficult to create them? I can't even imagine something similar... it was a very usufel experience. Congratulations!
