Green And Blue Ruffle Scarf

Stitching pre-felt ruffles to the main body of the scarf...

...using nylon thread.

The finished scarf front...

...and back.

See how each ruffle 'felts into' the pre-felt base...

...leaving a faint line where the fibers intertwine?

Four finished pre-felt scarves...

...plus two more, equals six. :)

Here, you can see how very long the red and yellow scarves really are!

I'm not quite finished showing you my Christmas gift scarves...

...but I'm getting closer. :)

Next time, I'll shake things up a bit and show you a different kind of holiday gift...

...a small clutch bag with silk and wool pre-felt leaves.

The red and yellow ones do look really long - and there are so many different styles there!

Rachel--Yes...you really have to wrap and wrap with the yellow/red ones to get them not to drag on the ground! :)

With all of these fun and interesting scarves, there are scarves for every occasion. All but one, that is. Nothing for a somber moment, but who needs a scarf for that? LOL From the look of things you are having a fun time trying new things, and why else bother, if you're not enjoying yourself, eh?
:)

I love all of those scarves and the different techniques. What was the average length of the shorter scarves? Just for comparison.

Andrea--Thanks! The shorter ones were approximately 4.5 to 5 feet long. XXO-
