Reversible Felted 'Japanese Knot Bag'- Part 1

       After making this tote...

 ...in Hungary, recently...

                                                
                                          ...I knew I wanted to modify the resist...




                                              ...by angling both 'arms' inward...

                                         ...and drastically shortening one of them.



                                        Covering side one with a layer of roving...



                                  ...and then a second in a perpendicular direction.



                                               Flipping the project to side two...



                                                  ...and repeating the process.



                                                          Wetting out the tote...



                                                          ...and adding two...



                                            .       ...'palate cleansing' layers...



                                                ...of white wool to each side. ;)



                       (This will prevent the colors from 'bleeding through' too much...                                       

                                        ...when I add my final two layers of wool.)
