Fiona Duthie's Fibre, Paper and Ink Vessel Class- Part 2!

Completely entranced...

...by fabulous Fiona's clever techniques...

...I add a lot(!) of decorative elements...

                                                      ...to my project surface.

                                                     Mid-way through felting...

...the paper and ink begin to respond...

                                            ...in wonderful and curious ways.

For a bit of extra fun...

...the mouth of the vessel is trimmed...

                                              ...into a pleasing, irregular shape.

                                                            During fulling...

...the nearly completed vessel takes on a rather suede-like appearance!

                                               Next time: my finished project.

That is an interesting - and successful! - combination of colours and patterns. Looking forward to the final outcome...

Terriea--It was a really interesting combination of ink, paper and wool. I learned a lot and enjoyed it very much.
