From whimsical novelty fabric...
...featuring riding wear...
...two fabric tubes are fashioned...
...and stitched to the sides of a zipper.
The exterior and lining fabrics...
...are fashioned into identically-sized 'envelopes'...
...and the bottom corners of each are squared-off.
The 'envelopes' are sewn together...
...and the mouth of the bag is top-stitched.
The zipper is pinned and then sewn into place.
The finished bag...
...with its contrasting colourway...
...is just the right size for charging cords...
...or small travel items.

And my goodness, don't we all end up with a fine tangle of cords and things when we travel these days!. Something cheerful to stow them in is a very good thought!
Rachel--Hahaha...you're right...SO many cords! :)
These small zippered bags are great...something I need to try soon. Where do you purchase your Dutch wax fabric? thanks
Thanks, Cathy! Unfortunately, I actually purchased that wax batik fabric in a market in Rotterdam. I'm sure there are good fabric sites online, though.
Ah, thanks. I had a feeling you were going to say you bought it in the Netherlands. But yes, many on-line opportunities. Those lucky folks on your Christmas list!
Cathy--Thanks! They're fun little projects to make.
