Drawing triangles on a 'fabric sandwich'...
...and machine stitching the two layers of fabric together...
...leaving the short sides open.
Cutting the pieces apart...
...turning them right-side out, and carefully pressing them.
Making a length of bias tape from the self-same fabric...
...and stitching the bunting flags to it at regular intervals.
The vintage airplane fabric...
...matches my soon-to-be grandson's nursery decor...
...and because the bunting is reversible (to a baseball print)...
...I'm hoping that it will be used again, one day, as a birthday party decoration.
A short length of bunting decorates the 'book bin'...
...and the longer length will adorn the gift tables.
We had a baby shower for my eldest daughter, recently...
...and my other girls and I prepared the table decorations and party favors.
Next time: more airplane-themed decorations...
...including a 'diaper cake'! :)

What a great idea. I'm sure it will have many years of use!
