Pennsylvania State University Visit-Fall 2013

While visiting my daughter during Parents and Families Weekend this fall at PSU...

...we toured her dormitory (check out some of the creative door art on display in her hallway!!)...

...then spent several hours browsing, playing board games and drinking coffee at Webster's...

...a wonderful bookstore cafe with a couple of employees who boast fantastic tattoos!

I teased the Rumi-quote-bearing young man that surely it must win him the hearts of many women...

...and I was utterly entranced by Ellen's 'lightning bug' tattoo...and by Ellen, herself...

...a lovely and enthusiastic young barista and musician!

We also spent one perfect afternoon...

...among the flowers...

...at the incredible university arboretum.

Everywhere we looked...

...there was something beautiful to see...

...and autumn was in the air!

Goodness, you must have been drunk and dazed with colour - I'm astonished you had the presence of mind to take photos to show us!

The photographer did a great job taking all the beautiful pictures. It's nice that you take the time to take pictures of natures' beauty and share them with all of us.

Rachel-It IS a beautiful place and I took so many photographs while I was there that I thought that making collages would be the best way to share them with you! :)
David-TBF...nice! :)

OMG, what a feast for the eyes. Those photos are just gorgeous, it must have been amazing being surrounded by so much beauty and color. Your daughter is very lucky to be attending classes there too.
