Raw Fleece Purse With Leather Strap- Part 1 of 2

Applying raw Bordeleria fleece, 'tips down'...

...to the surface of my resist...

...followed by layers of wool roving.

Wetting out side one...

...and side two.

Mid-way through felting.

A close-up of the highly textured felt surface.

The finished bag, drying.

Next time: I add a leather strap...

...and vintage button closure.

Oh, how I love your raw wool fleeces!

One day I will be brave enough to attempt to make one. I'm always so afraid everything will felt.

Deborah and Andrea--Thanks! It's nice to work on a smaller raw fleece project...rather than a rug! :)

This is so Groovy! It makes me think of the 60's. And I love anything old...like me.

I am just sitting sipping my drink and taking a look-see at what everyone is up too.
