Sudden Trip To Husum...Is Anyone Free For Coffee?

My partner's mother (who lives in Husum, Germany) is gravely ill...

...so he and I will be flying there on Tuesday to be with her.

I know that there are only so many hours per day...

...that the nursing home will allow us to visit with her...

...and I also understand that my loving and dutiful partner...

...will need some time alone with his mother, as well.

So...if you live close-by and wouldn't mind traveling to Husum...

...and could 'squeeze' me into an already jam-packed holiday schedule...

...(I know it's a lot to ask!)...

...I would love to meet you for coffee or a drink next week!

Or, if you have any suggestions about fiber-related things to do or see in Husum...

...please contact me at woollove-fiberart(at)hotmail(dot)com.

Thanks, friends!! XXO-

Dear Heather,

It would be so lovely to meet you, but it is 600 km away (one way!) from where I live in The Netherlands!! Good luck with your mother-in-law! Love, Alexandra.

Sandie--Thanks!! It's so nice to have caring friends!
Rachel--Thank-you for your condolences. I'm sure that the visit will be fine either way, but I missed out on meeting a blog friend in England one year because I didn't 'ask', so now I like to share my plans with the blogosphere! :)
Linda--Thank you for your healing thoughts. They're so important, aren't they?!?
Denise--Thank-you...yes...I hope to do something 'vacationy' if it's possible.

Look at the beauty of those buildings. Inspiring. I hope she feels better and that your visit brings her joy.

BTW, I was with Jone yesterday PLUS Dawn Edwards. We've decided you need to come visit Michigan again.
