Wattwurm ('Worm Poo') Throw- Part 2

Wetting the piece down.

The finished throw.

Detail of a wonderful, springy lock.

The throw in situ on the back of my rocking chair.

This project came together like a dream...

...once I had finished the hard part of laying out the fleece.

I love the delicious contrast of tame, white merino roving...

...and unruly Jacob Hoggett locks! :)

It's the perfect size to tuck in around your legs while you're reading in a cool room...

...and remembering its earthy inspiration never fails to make me laugh!

ooooh, that does look very cozy to warm up the legs while knitting away in the evening (I'll get that knitting bug in you)

It is amazing and I love the unique contrast of the Jacob too.

Happy Fiber Arts Friday!

How amusing! I've spent the a.m. sorting out 9-10" Romney locks that I haven't decided how to use yet but they felt up like iron so perhaps you've been an interesting inspiration. Always love looking at your work.

A soft and cozy lap cover for in the car too, during cold Winter months.

Very nice indeed, and now, I can't help but think of worm poo myself, every time I see it. LOL
