New England Felting Supply

As you can see...

...this store is an absolute mecca for felters!

Look at all of the colors!

Imagine being able to touch everything, too!

They even carry kits for special projects like this one.

Here I am with my friends Dawn and Sharon...

...and look at Lindy, Debbie, Dawn, Sharon and Tylar's beaming faces (and large bags full of fibery goodness)!!

Many of you have probably ordered products from New England Felting Supply online...

...or visited their booth at a Sheep and Wool Festival a time or two.

It's an altogether different animal getting to visit the store in person...

...and I know I'll never be the same!! :)

Of course we 'needed' to make two stops there...

...once on the way into the "Fling" and once mid-week to stock up during their marvelous sale hours.

If you're ever in New England, make sure you take the time to visit this felter's paradise...

...and bring along a big carrying bag!! :)

Cherish your Aladdin's Cave of suppliers - there aren't all that many of them!

Rachel--It's the first shop of its kind I've ever been in!

Looks heavenly to me and I'm not even a felter. Nothing is more fun that being with a group of friends at a great location like that shop. Happy Fiber Arts Friday!

These are gorgeous photos of a gorgeous shop, Heather! The hurricane may have created some havoc on our trip, but it did allow me the chance to go BACK to NEFS on Monday! (Yep, it cost me once again :)
It was SOOOO fun to get to meet you at the Fling!

That's gorgeous ... baskets of roving, like you'd see baskets of produce!

Wow, those bags! Wish I can be there to fill a few of them.

Your Neighborhood Park hat is simply amazing, and all those hats in the reception, creativity abound!

How wonderful Heather! I've been to NEFS..never an inexpensive excursion...and alwyas worth every penny! What stands out to me in your pictures, is being able to go with wooly friends, with women who get the fiber thing, and have so much fun going, together! Love reading your posts...have started wondering if I might be able to make the Fling in 2013....

Hello - this seems to be an amazing place. I have already read about it in Andrea Grahams blog. Wonderful - just as "Wollknoll" in Germany. Greetings and thank you for your compliment according to my skirt in green.... Angelika

Angelika--Yes...I think it's very much like Wollknoll! Thank you for visiting my blog!

Deborah...and to make it worse, it's just a few doors down from a homemade ice cream store with the best ice cream I've ever eaten! How about strawberry-basil or salted caramel custard?!?
