Adding printed rayon fabric and pre-felt "o's"...
...to a layer of wool roving...
...then folding in the edges, making a slightly narrower flap.
The finished felt.
(Looks like a bowl of olives, doesn't it?!?) :)
A close-up of the felted-in pre-felt bits...

The back of the finished purse...

Next time: the bag interior, pocket and leather flap...

I was thinking it reminded me of cheetah spots!
That's e very festive leopard ;-)
I love the design of these purses. What a great way to incorporate the leather and felt. You always inspire me.
Rachel and Els--"Lions and tigers and bears!"? Not olives?!? Hahaha...I must have been hungry when I was writing my blog post! Giggle.
Andrea--Thanks! These were fun to make.
It turnout amazing! The leopard pattern and the graduating color is wonderful. Also the green leather is a perfect match. This bag is good for all season, not feel too hot in summer.
This one is familiar :)
LOVE it xxx
Terriea--I'm glad you like it!
