'Neutrals' Nuno Scarf- Part 1 of 2

                                                 Assembling the 'components'...

                  ...tussah silk, variegated wool roving, dyed Mawata silk hankies...


                                                 ...and a length of silk fabric.


                                  Laying a thin layer of wool over the fabric surface.


                                                        Adding silk hankies...


                                                ...to the wetted out wool...


                                           ...plus 'cirrus clouds' of tussah silk.


                                              Wetting out the entire project...

                                                        ...prior to rolling.
    

                                            After rolling for a (considerable) time...

                                       ...slits are cut into a portion of the scarf.


                                          Next time: one fringed end is created...

                                               ...and the scarf is completed.
